Q) Do I need to have a website, or an internet-based business?
A) No! You can become licensed for any type of business
that you have, or elect to start. BabyByYou!™ imposes no
limitations or restrictions on what your business type may
be. Licensees are solely responsible for all federal and state
business laws, statutes, and guidelines that may affect or be
required of them or their home sewing business.
BabyByYou!™ only licenses patterns.
Q) Do I need to own a serger?
A) No! You can make
beautifully bound or turned and topstitched CuddleBuns, as well as
make beautifully turned and topstitched HoneyBoys.
Q) I don't know how to sew, but I would like to learn. Any
advice?
A) Yes! It is easier than you think. Visit our Learn2Sew Learning Center!
Q) Will I be licensed to make any kind of CuddleBuns™,
HoneyBoy!™, or any other BabyByYou!™ pattern
products?
A) Yes, you will be licensed to make any and all
future patterns that are released (AIOs, covers, etc) of the same
product type, for the duration of your license. The only cost will be
the pattern itself, whichever patterns you choose to add to your line
of hand-sewn products. So if a new version of CuddleBuns™
becomes available, it will be made available to you at no cost, or
for the cost of the pattern -- though add-ons are usually free of
charge to our contractors. However each pattern line is independent,
and you must have an individual license for each type to receive the
rights to commercially use the new and updated versions or edition of
the product line. Each pattern line has it's own respective licensing fee.
Q) Will I be licensed to use all patterns? What if I want to
become licensed for more than one?
A) Already licensed for a pattern program? Your second is
discounted. Discount applies only to currently active BabyByYou! WAHMS
or to those who are purchasing them both at one time. It
is recommend that you start with one pattern, however, so that you
can best run your particular business with one product line prior to
taking on an additional product line. My recommendation is to try the
patterns and decide which you like making best, what you enjoy the
most, and what pattern you feel most passionate about. Having more
than one license can be fun, but isn't necessary.
Q) Is there a payment plan for licenses of any type?
A)
The QUICKSTART licenses are a payment plan option. When they are
available, the information is available on the purchasing screen.
Q) What is your refund policy?
A) All licenses are non-returnable and nonrefundable. All sales are FINAL.
Q) What if I decide to quit, do I have to continue making
payments?
A) The contract you signed states the amount of
money owed, regardless of how you choose to use your actual
license. For instance, if you signed a QuickStart Annual license, you
owe all of the payments for the year, regardless of whether or not
you quit making diapers.
Q) My mother and I are interested in both sewing diapers for a
single business, part-time. We are not interested in two business
licenses, but working together as one unit. Will there be any room
for this in your current program?
A) You each may both
purchase a license, but no special discounts are provided.
